Miley’s Controversial Dance at The Teen Choice Awards
Miley Cyrus recently performed at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards and her attire and dance moves have caused quite a commotion. Many people think that the 16 year old singer was dressed in too little clothing and her dance choreography was a little too provocative - especially for a performance on an awards show obviously aimed at kids. Miley’s performance of her new hit single, “Party in the USA” featured herself and many other dancers dressed in very short shorts and provocitively moving their hips as part of the dance with many times doing this facing away from the camera. At one point Miley even gets on a platform with a pole and does a pole dance. Was the dance really that bad? Is the commotion caused by this event substantiated? You be the judge!
