It’s true, the hit pop star Miley Cyrus has deleted her Twitter account, and she used a rap video that she released on YouTube to tell fans why decided to stop using Twitter, even though her popular account had about 2 million followers. Miley said “Everything that I type, Everything that I do, some gossip site makes it news.” The last tweet she made before deleting the account was about how her new boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, wasn’t a Twitter user and wanted her to delete her account.

Miley Cyrus recently performed at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards and her attire and dance moves have caused quite a commotion. Many people think that the 16 year old singer was dressed in too little clothing and her dance choreography was a little too provocative - especially for a performance on an awards show obviously aimed at kids.
